With Chester County moving into a Green status for COVID-19 related restrictions, Zion Lutheran Church is making plans to return to having an on-premise service on Sunday, but with several changes and precautions in place with the safety and health of both our congregation and visitors at the forefront.

On Sunday, July 5th, Zion will be holding service within the church for the first time since March.  This first Sunday of return is also Confirmation Sunday so the church will be mostly reserved for Confirments and their family with limited space for others in the church.  Additional space will be made available in the Fellowship Hall for additional service attendees where the service will be streamed so attendees can still be part of the service.  We will also move away from our current Zoom online service and will begin streaming our Sunday service live from the church each Sunday going forward.

To join us for Sunday service in person, you will need to sign-up online or call the church office (610-948-3323) to reserve you seat(s) in either the main church sanctuary or the Fellowship Hall.  Sign-up will be required for each Sunday service you would like to attend.  Unfortunately, the number of seats with the need for social distancing will be limited and sign-up will occur on a “first come, first served” basis.  All attendees are required to where masks and follow any published guidelines.  The link to our online sign-up for the Sunday’s service has been provided below.

Also starting on July 5th, we will be live streaming our Sunday Service each week through the internet as well for those wishing to continue joining us for service remotely.  As a result, there will be no more Zoom meetings as we shift to live streaming the service instead.  More information on this will be provided in the upcoming weeks.
